The Dell is a beautiful, creative and versatile space to host a retreat or event of any kind. We love to fill our Tipi space in the woods with creative workshops, foot stomping gigs and beautiful supper clubs beneath the pines, check out our line up below and catch something interesting during your holiday.

The Dell is right in the heart of the Cairngorms and on the edge of the Abernethy Forest the Dell is a peaceful place with great access to true wilderness. Accommodation is versatile and our studio space is set within the forest in our Scandinavian Tipi.
We make sure your guests have the environment that allows them to relax and gain the most from the retreat and we also have a couple of fantastic recommendations for catering.

Soundscape meditation walk

Music has been our true tonic over the last little while and we have built a stack of our 'Woodland Wireless' playlists on Spotify to form a connection with the woods, even when you're not able to visit.
Soundscape draws from this library, carefully selecting tracks that stir us and resonate with the landscape surrounding us to take us on a meditative musical journey into the deeper, more hidden trails surrounding the Dell.
Each walk takes around an hour and will be punctuated with birdsong interludes and hot cups.
Only requirements are Premium Spotify account, good headphones and some sturdy footwear.
This is available all year round.
'Indie Fridays' at The Dell Grocer

We are very excited to bring back Indie Fridays, where we can celebrate independent businesses and crafters on the run up to Christmas. The Dell Grocer will be open as usual on a Friday until the slightly later time of 7pm, with an array of gorgeous gifts and decorations. Why not pick yourself up a custom made hamper, grab a glass of mulled cider and some of our tasty samples and just soak up the festive feels. We also have gift vouchers available to purchase, another great idea for a Christmas present!
If you aren't able to make it along to our Grocer then everything is available to buy online and you can add a little note to your order if you wish for it to be packed up as a hamper. We are also offering free UK delivery for orders over £50.
Our Indie Fridays will be starting up on Friday 21st November and running through till 19th December. The Grocer will be open as normal every day (except Sundays) from 9 - 5pm with fresh sourdough from KJs Bakery available on Fridays.
